Speaker for the Dead, written by Orson Scott Card, and is an enstallment in the Enders Game series. In Enders Game, Ender Wiggin was a child genious that led the fleets of earth to defeat the bugger hordes. After the annihilation of the bugger homeplanet, Ender feels empathy for the buggers, and is determined to right his wrong by telling the story of the buggers. His famous book, the Hive Queen and the Hegemon is regarded as a bible.Now, three thousand years later, Ender continues his mission, but also has another agenda. He has saved the cacoon of the bugger queen, and hopes to implant her on a planet where buggers can thrive oncemore.

Meanwhile, on a colony planet, another alien species has been discovered. Humanity is determined to prevent another Xenocide, and protects the "piggies" from destruction. an elite core of scientists are allowed to study the "piggies," but their contact is limeted. Humanity has gained a hatred for Ender the Xenocide, but dont realize he is at the head of the philosiphers called Speakers for the Dead, the so called priests of the Hive Queen and the Hegemon. Ender now is determined to revive the hive queen, and uncover the secrets of the "piggies."
